Dr. Albert Weng obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from UCLA before attending California State University, Long Beach where he earned his Doctorate in Physical Therapy. He is a certified Parkinson’s Wellness Recovery Moves (PWR!Moves®) therapist. He is passionate about helping those with balance and neurologic issues return to the activities they love. While he is not in the clinic, he enjoys weightlifting, playing board games, cooking, spending time with family, and traveling

Debbie Struiksma is the Clinical Director for the Complete Balance Solutions Seal Beach Clinic. She received her Bachelor of Science degree in Physical Therapy from California State University, Long Beach in 1996 and began her career at Long Beach Memorial Medical Center where she led the Balance and Vestibular Clinic until 2009. She became a Board Certified Neurologic Clinical Specialist in 2005 and was re-certified in 2015. She completed the Emory Vestibular Competency Course in 2001 and the Cervicogenic Dizziness Competency Course in 2013. In 2014 she received training in Balance Based Torso Weighting which she continues to use as a treatment for her neurologic patients. She advanced her experience in Vestibular Rehab at England Physical Therapy from 2009-2015 and joined Complete Balance Solutions in 2015 to extend her reach in helping those with balance and dizziness disorders. In 2018 she became a Movement Links Certified Therapist and applies those techniques to the patients she treats. Recently, she has developed the Telehealth Physical Therapy program at Complete Balance Solutions which enables the Team to treat patients from all over California regardless of distance.

Debbie is passionate about the treatment of people with neurologic and vestibular impairments. She currently is Adjunct Faculty at Chapman University Physical Therapy program and teaches the Vestibular Rehabilitation elective. In 2005 and 2006 she taught for Neurocom International in their clinical integration seminars using the SMART Equitest and Balance Master Systems. She has taught various webinars and clinical education courses on topics of vestibular rehabilitation, concussion and persistent perceptual postural dizziness since 2006. She has served on the Vestibular Rehab Special Interest Group leadership committee for the Academy of Neurologic Physical Therapy for over 20 years and is currently the co-editor of their newsletter. Because of her commitment to the profession, she also serves on the Historical Archive Committee for the Academy of Neurologic Physical Therapy to preserve the historical contributions of Physical Therapists in the area of Neurologic Physical Therapy. In 2022 she was awarded the Volunteer Service to the SIG Award by the Vestibular Rehabilitation Special Interest Group for her ongoing commitment. She is a member of the American Physical Therapy Association, the California Physical Therapy Association and the Academy of Neurologic Physical Therapy. She is passionate about improving the lives of individuals with dizziness, balance and neurologic disorders by helping them move safely in their home and community.

In her free time, Debbie enjoys staying connected with friends, colleagues and researchers from around the United States who share her passion in assisting people with vestibular, balance and dizziness disorders. She and her husband spend much of their family time at church or at local pools where their daughter is a swimmer and their son is a springboard diver.

Devon was born and raised in Huntington Beach, California and attended graduate school at Chapman University, where she developed a passion for working with adults with neurological disorders in order to improve their quality of life. She is SPEAK OUT! Certified, and has a special interest in the management of Parkinson's. She continually strives to provide a high standard of care for her patients!

Devon enjoys exercise and the outdoors. She is a certified Pilates instructor and teaches in her free time when she is not caring for her patients. She also enjoys hiking, traveling and attending sporting events of all kinds.

Dr. Esther Baek is the daughter of resilient immigrants and a first-generation college graduate. Growing up low-income she experienced first-hand the detriments of medical illiteracy and limited access to medical services. This led her down the path of healthcare and eventually, physical therapy.

Dr. Baek graduated with her Doctorate in Physical Therapy from California State University Long Beach in 2021 and has been practicing in acute care, outpatient orthopedic, and neurologic clinics since. She is also a certified Parkinson’s Wellness Recovery (PWR! Moves) therapist and frequently implements their teachings in both PD and non-PD cases alike. Dr. Baek is committed to providing inclusive and equitable care with a side of witty banter and a dash of humor. She is passionate about serving her community and creating lasting change in an individual’s life.

When not in the clinic, you can find her on an evening run, camping at a national park, or with her nose in a book & her cat on her lap.

Jaclyn Harrison received her Doctorate in Physical Therapy in 2008 and is currently pursuing her Ph.D. in Rehabilitation and Movement Science from Azusa Pacific University. She is also a full-time professor in the Doctor of Physical Therapy Program at Azusa Pacific University. Jaclyn is a board-certified Neurological Clinical Specialist with extensive experience in outpatient therapy, acute rehabilitation, home health, and private patient care. Jaclyn has a breadth of knowledge and clinical experience with neurological degenerative diseases and vestibular disorders. She is a certified PWR! Clinician for Parkinson’s disease, and trained in the use of the bioness, walk aide, and other neuromuscular stimulation devices to improve function. She has also provided community education and training to multiple sclerosis support groups. Her research interests include improving quality of life and mental health through rehabilitation and improving mental health competency in rehabilitation therapies.

Dr. Maria Colunga, PT, DPT is a physical therapist at Complete Balance Solutions. She earned
a Bachelor of Science degree in Kinesiology from California State University, Fullerton prior to
attending Azusa Pacific University where she earned her Doctorate in Physical Therapy. She is
passionate about serving those with balance and dizziness disorders, and is motivated by her
mission to help people find confidence and independence with activities of daily living. As a
member of the APTA, Maria utilizes up-to-date research and evidence-based practice resources
to improve patient outcomes.

Outside of the clinic, Maria enjoys spending time with her family and friends. She loves to cook
and entertain, fish for trout in the Eastern Sierras, cuddle with her pup, and travel

Dr. Megan Mar received her Doctorate of Physical Therapy from Chapman University, and her Bachelors of Science degree from University of California, San Diego. She is certified in LSVT BIG, a specialized training program for people with Parkinson’s Disease. Dr. Mar is passionate about patient education and fall prevention, welcomed as a guest speaker at Leisure World Seal Beach to educate on balance and dizziness. She has experience as a Clinical Instructor, mentoring and evaluating physical therapy students during their clinical rotation. Her research, “Application of Low Budget Virtual Reality Goggles to Improve Cervical Range of Motion in Older Adults” was accepted at the national 2018 American Physical Therapy Association NEXT Conference where she presented her poster. Her areas of interest include vestibular rehabilitation, neurologic disorders, balance therapy and fall prevention, pain dysfunction/chronic pain, and autonomic dysfunction. In addition to neurologic and vestibular rehabilitation, Dr. Mar has a background in orthopedics and sports rehab with emphasis on lower extremity disorders.

Dr. Natasha Gunaratne is a physical therapist at Complete Balance Solutions. Originally from Arizona, Dr. Gunaratne graduated from Doctor of Physical Therapy program at Chapman University in 2016 and has been practicing in Orange County since. She has also been certified as an LSVT BIG clinician since 2016 and worked as a clinical instructor in the long-standing Stroke Bootcamp operated by Department of Physical Therapy at Chapman University. Dr. Gunaratnet is very passionate about working with patients with dizziness, concussion, Parkinson’s Disease, Multiple Sclerosis, and balance dysfunctions.

In her spare time, Dr. Gunaratne enjoys running, playing soccer, and spending time with her dogs and husband.

Dr. Nirav Patel is one of the directors at Complete Balance Solutions Institute for Rehab and has been part of the initial CBS therapists. Dr. Patel graduated from USC with his Doctorate in Physical Therapy in 2002 and has been practicing in the South Orange County area since 2006. He has worked in numerous areas of academia, community outreach programs, lectures for national concussion conferences, the MS Society, OC concussion consortium, and many other community programs. He is actively involved in helping patients with concussion, dizziness, balance dysfunction, complex movement dysfunction, and non-healing pain dysfunction. He has been certified in Vestibular Rehabilitation since 2003.

In his free time, Dr. Patel enjoys spending time with his family, hiking, playing basketball, biking, rooting for the Lakers, cheering on his alumni USC Trojans and traveling.

Reignette is a licensed Speech Language Pathologist who received her degree from Loma Linda University with her Masters of Science in Communication Sciences and Disorders. After completing her internship at an outpatient rehab, she knew that she wanted to pursue working with adults, aiding in their journey of recovery. In her practice she aims to have clients feel safe and heard. Her favorite things include time outdoors, eating good food, and spending time with friends and family.

Dr. Robin Faustino, PT, DPT received his Bachelor of Science degree in Kinesiology at San Diego State University in 2017 before obtaining his Doctorate of Physical Therapy at Chapman University in 2022. He has completed clinical affiliations in inpatient cardiopulmonary and outpatient orthopedic, neurological, and vestibular settings where he has ample experience treating patients stemming from diverse backgrounds. He exudes passion in guiding those with imbalance and dizziness towards confidence and functional independence in performing activities of daily living and participation in recreational hobbies.

Robin utilizes current evidence-based practice as a member of the APTA to help formulate an individualized treatment plan that allows patients to achieve their functional goals. He has also been awarded honors for Excellence in Research through Chapman University's Class of 2022 for contributions in analyzing changes in gait through a 2-week intervention program for those with chronic stroke. Additionally, he was provided the opportunity to present this research with his colleagues at the 2023 APTA Combined Sections Meeting.

Outside of the clinic, Robin enjoys hiking, running, traveling, playing and watching sports, and spending quality time with family and friends.

Dr. Sapan Palkhiwala PT, DPT is one of the directors at Complete Balance Solutions Institute for Rehab and has been part of the team of CBS therapists from inception. Dr. Palkhiwala graduated from USC with his Doctorate in Physical Therapy in 2001, and has been practicing in the South Orange County area since 2006. He has worked in numerous areas of academia, research for LEAPS, community outreach programs, lectures for the Parkinson’s Disease Foundation, OC concussion consortium, and many other community programs. He is actively involved in helping patients with Vertigo, dizziness, balance dysfunction, concussion, Parkinson’s Disease. He has been certified in Vestibular Rehabilitation since 2002.

Dr. Palkhiwala enjoys in his spare time spending time with his wife and two kids, playing baseball/softball with the kids and biking.

Tia is a licensed and certified Speech Language Pathologist who provides speech, language, cognitive, and swallowing therapy to adults. Tia graduated from Biola University with her Masters of Science in Speech Language Pathology. Prior to pursuing speech pathology, Tia received a Bachelor of Arts in Communication Studies and Music. Her passion is working with adults to improve their communication abilities.

Tia joined the Complete Balance Solutions Team in 2019. She enjoys the collaboration with Physical Therapists as well as educating and mentoring students.

Originally from Minnesota, Tia moved to California to pursue her undergraduate and graduate degrees. She quickly learned that the weather, culture, and food in Southern California is the best! In her free time, Tia enjoys spending time with family, hanging out with friends and their dogs, and sampling various chocolates and coffee.

Dr. Victoria Clardy PT, DPT studied at California State University of Monterey Bay, where she played NCAA volleyball and graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Kinesiology. She then obtained a Doctorate of Physical Therapy degree from Azusa Pacific University. She has traveled to Kenya for a medical mission and participated in various local community outreaches, volunteering her time to provide physical therapy services for those with minimal access to medical related services. Victoria is passionate about treating patients with various diagnoses including those with orthopedic and balance impairments as well as neurologic conditions, with an emphasis on movement science to improve function. A certified Parkinson’s Wellness Recovery Moves (PWR!Moves®) therapist, she focuses on improving movement and overall well-being through exercise for those living with Parkinson’s Disease. She actively researches best-treatment guidelines in neurological and orthopedic conditions through the APTA to continue providing excellent care for her patients. Through her education, experiences in athletics, her own medical history and serving both locally and globally she has developed her passion for, and dedication to, physical therapy and working to improve people’s quality of life through a multi-treatment approach tailored to each patient’s needs and goals. She also believes physical therapy treatment must be individualized to each patient and that it is imperative to have a collaborative approach in order to reach desired goals and objectives.

In her free time, Dr. Clardy enjoys spending time with family and friends, playing and watching sports, hiking, reading and photography.

Teresa (Teesa) Lhota is from San Diego, California, and moved up to Orange County in 2017 to pursue her career in physical therapy. She graduated Summa Cum Laude with her Bachelor of Science with an emphasis in Kinesiology from CSU San Marcos in 2017. She was accepted into CSU Long Beach's physical therapy program where she graduated in 2021 with her Doctorate in Physical Therapy. Teesa enjoys working with dizzy patients and patients with neurologic disorders such as Parkinsons and post-stroke. Outside of work, she enjoys hanging out with her friends and trying new local breweries.

Sally Hanson grew up in Cypress, California. She has 2 brothers and one sister, and she is the youngest child. Sally attended Los Alamitos High School from 2012-2015. She then went on to attend Iowa State University from 2015-2019 on a softball scholarship and received her Bachelor of Science degree with a focus on Kinesiology Exercise Science. Following undergrad she attended American Career College where she received her Associate's Degree to become a Physical Therapist assistant. Outside of work, she enjoys continuing to play softball and being around family.

Laura received a Bachelor's of Science in Chemistry from the University of Texas at Austin in 2019. During their time in Austin, Laura discovered their love of physical therapy while recovering from sports injuries from competing as a collegiate rock climber. Laura then went on to earn a Doctorate of Physical Therapy from Chapman University in 2023. They have a history of working with patients with lower extremity amputation, those who experience dizziness vestibular, and balance impairments. Laura is also a PWR! certified physical therapist - a research-based rehabilitation framework for patients with Parkinson's Disease. In their spare time, Laura enjoys hosting brunch with their friends, exploring local coffee shops, hiking, and spending time with their two cats!

Originally from the Bronx, NY, Adam F. Sanchez, Ed.D, OTR/L, PAM, has been a dedicated force in the Southern California rehabilitation community since 2007. With a strong academic foundation—including a Doctorate in Education and Leadership, a Master’s in Integrative Studies, and a Bachelor’s in Occupational Therapy—Adam blends clinical expertise with a passion for lifelong learning and interdisciplinary collaboration.

Adam has built his career around improving outcomes for patients with complex neurological conditions. He has successfully implemented evidence-based rehabilitation programs that target functional recovery while enhancing the patient experience. His eclectic approach is rooted in neuroplasticity and designed to support meaningful changes in the central nervous system—helping patients regain independence and improve their quality of life.

His specialties include physical agent modalities, wheelchair seating and positioning, and generalist driving rehabilitation. Bilingual in Spanish and English, Adam is committed to delivering culturally competent care and building strong therapeutic relationships across diverse communities.

Outside of the clinic, Adam enjoys spending time with his partner and their two rescued Golden Retrievers, Dulce and Kalia. He’s an avid runner with the Crazees running group and finds joy in helping novice runners achieve their goals—from first 5Ks to full marathons.

Dr. Megan Tucker, PT, DPT, earned her Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology from Azusa Pacific University in 2020, where she also served as a student-athlete and team captain on the university’s softball team. She went on to complete her Doctorate of Physical Therapy at California State University Long Beach in 2025.

Her clinical experience includes outpatient orthopedic, neurologic, and vestibular settings, as well as inpatient acute care, treating a wide range of conditions across diverse populations. She is deeply passionate about empowering patients through functional rehabilitation and personalized education, helping them return to the activities that bring meaning and joy to their lives.

With a patient-centered approach rooted in empathy, compassion, and encouragement, Megan strives to meet each patient where they are in their healing journey, providing thoughtful care that supports both mind and body. Her commitment to excellence was recognized through multiple awards in the CSULB Pro Bono Neurologic Clinic, as well as the department scholarship for Excellence in Physical Therapy. She also presented her research on diastasis rectus abdominis (DRA) in the pregnant and postpartum population at the 2025 APTA Combined Sections Meeting, reflecting her dedication to advancing the field through evidence-based practice.

Outside of the clinic, she enjoys exploring national parks, hiking, paddle boarding, playing guitar, spending quality time with friends and family, and staying active through outdoor sports like spikeball, pickleball, and softball.
